I think the natural thinking is Kev but he’s not a captain for me, he gets too emotional (in a good way) to stay level headed enough. Look at his spats with Pep, it’s nothing and quickly forgotten but in the heat of the moment in a match it could cause issues when captain. In that moment he needs a captain to calm the situation. Kev is fantastic and outstanding, I just don’t feel he’s the main captain material myself. Others will argue different which is fine, it’s just my opinion.

It is interesting but I highly doubt anyone new coming in will be made captain right away. So they don’t need to wait until returning to decide the captain.

I agree 100%, another sign it could be Kev is I’ve a sneaky feeling this could be his last season before he goes off for one last pay day. I’d be gutted but we couldn’t deny him that, I suspect he’ll be next Summers high profiled link to Saudi.
