Depends. If you are competing with Stones, Gvardiol, Ake and Alanji for one CB Spot (assuming Dias starts by default for arguement's sake), then no.

If Ake is playing LB, Akanji at RB, Stones in midfield, and it is between you and new guy Gvardiol for the other CB slot, then yes. Or if it is between you and Ake for the LB spot. etc.

I agree in principle but something must have happened that the fans aren't privy too for a player of this quality to not get a look in. He wasn't competing for a spot last season if he stays that has to change for the whole squads sake

Yes I agree it’s time to lower the age profile but he deserves so much respect

Agree totally with this, he did what De Bruyne did last season, playing with an injury for the team.

Definitely a class, but
not sure if he's fully recovered from his injury against Wolves, when he put his career on the line to help us win the league. I want us to sign Gvardiol but if Laporte is happy with lack of game time, then he would be a great back up.
