That's exciting. I have never seen him play. I meant it more like let's loan him to Girona for a season, and then, hopefully, he makes it with us. Same as Maxi. Unless he is so good, he could come in right away, but I doubt he would get a lot of game time, given our current defensive options.

He is a childhood City fan as well. I don't get the hate for him. Cheap, young. He will probably barely play and is happy to be a bench option. We can't have 22 world-class players. He was excellent at the U-21 Euros. It's just a thought, but with a possible increase in games again, I wonder if Pep will play 'mixed' teams in the domestic cups to gine the A squad a break and hold on to the likes of McAtee, Phillips,Palmer, Peronne, Gomez add Lewis & Bobb. We are leaving it late finding clubs for Doyle & THB also.

There’s no need to hate or downplay the talent of our youth but the gap between our EDS and the top of the prem has proven too large for almost everyone we have wanted to play for us over the years. The list is almost a mile long and at some point we have to accept that it’s too big an ask for the vast majority of talents. Lavia is probably the model, whether we like it or not. They need to go play somewhere at the prem level where they can make mistakes and grow into being Prem players

They all arguably need to improve and zero game time doesn't do that.
