It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I still cant believe they bid for Caicedo without actually knowing if he would join them?!
Desperate mate. No doubt Henry is actively trying to screw Chelsea behind the scenes.

Liverpool in fairness are a bit like city. Trying to find value in the market. Happy to spend £50/60m but don’t want to go any higher.

Liverpool usually distort the market see Van dyk and Allisson deals but even they are baulking at the prices quoted.

schoolboy error showing their hand by all of a sudden doing £110m while pleading poverty? Fucked themselves for the rest of the window now as people think/know they have cash?

They have always had the cash. The media portray them as a poverty stricken underdog club punching above their weight against an evil empire. The only one laughing is the Liverpool owners. All the way to the bank!

Is Pep trying to go the whole season without conceding a goal?

4 centre halves, then Rodri, Nunes and Kovacic in front.

Good luck breaching that.

In the 19/20 season, City scored about 100 goals in the League and finished some 18 points behind Liverpool and lost to Lyon in the CL. Towards the end of the season, I felt perhaps City have a higher chance of winning the CL with a better defensive manager than Pep. Move forward 3 seasons, Pep has turned the squad into one of the best defensive sides.
