Liverpool in fairness are a bit like city. Trying to find value in the market. Happy to spend £50/60m but don’t want to go any higher.
Liverpool usually distort the market see Van dyk and Allisson deals but even they are baulking at the prices quoted.

Move forward 3 seasons, Pep has turned the squad into one of the best defensive sides.
