“Tit bits” lol

Its tidbits mate.
'Tidbit and titbit both refer to a choice morsel or a pleasing bit of something. The only difference is that tidbit is the preferred American and Canadian English while titbit is the variant of the word but is less used.'

Speaking for myself I am English, not American or Canadian, and titbit is perfectly correct. Of course, some pious, sanctimonious types will dislike the reference to 'tit' but it is good English.

Why are we bickering about tits? That's the for rags thread...

Got some intel to share. This is reliable person who know people at club. Usually watched CityXtra live during summer and he was in the chats. He called Nunes signing before Romano and co posted it. So he shares tit bits here are there in comment section. Dropped fair amount today. CityXra rate him as source too.

Will post the screen shots below very detailed stuff about transfer window, Sancho etc Enlightening read!

He can't even spell so I doubt it's true.

Spells like a 10 year old.

Neves starting midfield at 19, even against Porto for Benfica, gonna have to watch more of the lad

That may be true, but if you look at the CITY brand and business since 2012, it has grown massively. We have become football giants both in revenue and results on the pitch. We are now football ROYALTY. Sanctioning Kompany to take the role of Txiki, instead of an experienced world class DOF at this stage of the club's evolution is not a strategic nor a tactical move. It is a sentimental move and a very experimental move that is likely to get us burned. Sentimental moves are dangerous and costly because they are not well thought out. We are too big to take such a risk now. City will take a massive hit, if we go down that route. The momentum we have built on the pitch in the past decade will take a massive hit. Whether you believe[based on sentiment] in Kompany or not and I do not recommend that we go the sentimental route. At the end of day, when the day comes, the club will do whatever it wants to do. If they go for Kompany then they will. Just my 2cents

I have never worked for Multi Billion $ HEDGE FUNDS as a PORTFOLIO MANAGER/HEAD TRADER. I have never ran VC or PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM or opened a business, nor have worked for a football club in a decision making role, making tough calls. I have never been in a role that requires critical thinking and making tough decisions and making Multi-million/Billion $ money moves. In a nutshell, I am just a City fan with a baseless opinion, with 0 business knowledge and football strategies and acumen. Meaning I do not know much about these things, I just want what is best for City that is all and if Kompany is best, so be it!!! ;)]
As you rightly say sentiment and football is a dangerous mix and one that in most cases fail.

People were last season clamoring for Kompany to replace Pep, and as we have seen from Burnley's struggles, he has so much to learn to become a decent manager, never mind potentially replacing the greatest coach of his generation.

This club has become the best run club in the world because it makes decisions based on facts and it employs the best in class at all levels, we are run by execs who are not blinded by sentiment.

Very dangerous. I have seen sentiment ruin great projects and businesses. I have seen it take down companies. I have seen it destroy huge portfolios. Of course not everything is ruined by sentiment. Some things need sentiment to prosper but in this case, I am afraid it might ruin us.

Pep is the MOZART of this game. His running the show. Seeing things the football world can't see. Always thinking faster, bigger and better. Creative and innovative. Pep is special. I dread the day he leaves, it would be a sad day for us all. It would feel like we are at a funeral. Anyone who replaces this man, will fall short at every turn. We have been spoiled and I am devastated that it wont last forever. Kompany doesn't even hold a candle, the gulf is too huge. Pep is a genius, he hits targets that no-one can see or even know exists.

I for one, would like it to continue in this direction. No sentiments to appease egos or fans. Look at ManU, how the mighty have fallen. No direction from the very top to the bottom. Riding on their history, riding on past glory and the delusional fanbase they have accumulated over the years. The fanbase which grows increasingly disgruntled and frustrated with every match.

^This is so true.

However well run we are and whatever succession plan is in place, the drop off when Pep leaves is going to be huge, that's why we should savour every minute he is here, we are witnessing something utterly unique and incredible, something football fans will look back in decades and say , Wow that was the moment Pep changed football forever.
