dont think Couto is that guy personally mate and Frimpong seemingly as a £34m release clause this summer as well.
I just think he wants to get away from the UK and the pressure of the PL, the guy has run through brick walls for us since the day he arrived, he looks shattered and you can only do that for so long.Yeah maybe, i can't see how Barcelona afford him though.
I know there was supposed interest from PSG, but i don't understand why he'd go there.
In an ideal world, a swap with Benfica for Joao Neves would make sense for us, as he's the type of midfielder we need, and also for Bernie, as he fulfills his dream and goes home.

I think a lot will depend on what happens with Walker.dont think Couto is that guy personally mate and Frimpong seemingly as a £34m release clause this summer as well.
If he stays we can afford to let Couto integrate into the squad and get up to speed with us, plus Couto won't cost us anything.
If he leaves then the need becomes greater as we'll need a more experienced player.

Bernie will be 30 in the summer so it might be the perfect time for him to move back to Benfica.
Apparently him and Dias have been talking to Neves, so a swap may be the best move for everyone!

One thing for sure is, we are going to have to have some of our songs translated into Portuguese.
Walker needs to be replaced, maybe a big payday in Saudi and to get away from his complicated love life would be ideal for all parties.I think a lot will depend on what happens with Walker.
