A bit of stretch to really expect Wharton to step up at City. Not the wildest take in all honesty!

No it isn’t he a very promising player, no guarantees but not a stretch. McAtee isn’t a comparison because they play in different positions and to be honest isn’t what we need.A bit of stretch to really expect Wharton to step up at City.
Could play deep if asked. Has plenty of Premier League experience. Would cost nowt too. I wouldn't call Wharton special talent. No it isn’t he a very promising player, no guarantees but not a stretch. Wharton looks class. If the club and pep want him surely that’s an indication of how good they think he could be.Wharton lol. I'd rather keep James McAtee and I am being serious.
10 games and he doesn't look that special.Wharton looks class. If the club and pep want him surely that’s an indication of how good they think he could be.
Mcatee doesn’t play in the same position/ there’s no comparison
Why do city want him then?10 games and he doesn't look that special.
dont have the game time to give him, clearly if the club feel he'll develop into it (hence scouting and going to go in next season for him) but clubs in the hunt already means they might join the hunt and find the time to develop him here rather than miss out.It does make me think if we are after Wharton why didn’t we just sign him from Blackburn? Maybe we need to up our scouting and spot talent earlier
