alvarez goes we have replaced his minutes by giving more to bobb mcatee and signed savio don't see what the problem is last season pep seemed to try and fit julien in to team formations didn't always work if erling is injured we just play a false 9We need to replace class with at least the same class though? Bobb and Mcatee done well if pre season but can they play at this level and champions league week in week out? Not sure on that and imo we need a top class versatile player brought in and a hybrid midfielder
Alvarez got 16 goals and 11 assists in all comps last season. To put that pressure on an academy graduate would be unfair.

Do we really need to replace him, though?Álvarez needs to be replaced if he goes. Our third best attacking player last season behind Foden and Haaland.
Bobb can fill in for him. He prefers playing centrally anyway, and it's unlikely KDB will miss half a season again.

Good deal for Alvarez if the money is right. Joins Torres and Jesus in just not being quite good enough. Chuck the money at Musiala and job's a gud un.

6 goals (in all competitions) in 2024 he scored, 1 being a penalty away at Fulham. The majority of his goals came early in the season during his purple patch when he tailored off both performance-wise and contribution-wise. I thought anyway.
