I said this when they signed him, and I said it last season, Liverpool just signed Nunez a year too soon.

31 goals and assists last season from 33 starts and 20 sub appearances is a really good return for a 24 year old winger but his reputation is tarnished by his first season,

He does have stuff to work on - which is much harder when you’re fighting for a place in a PL contenders squad vs. The main man at Benfica so if he’d arrived a year later he’d have been much further ahead and more rounded.

One of those players capable of anything - a 35 yard screamer and smashing it wide from on the line. There's definitely talent in there.

Seemed to be rumours that Arsenal are keen - I'd be surprised if Liverpool were to sell him this late in the window without a replacement lined up.
