Well. The fact he's got less than a year left on a deal means he's, currently, more likely to leave than he is to stay. Regardless of context.
To humour you, though...signing a world class player who is not even at his peak yet would be a nice thing to put in front of Pep that he hasn't already got.

Read the press and Pep's going so it must be true. Haaland is going to Real Madrid, Bernardo's going here there and everywhere, everyone's leaving .............BORING!!!!!!

Each year that passes means we are closer to the end of Pep. He might go next summer or he might not.
Pep always honours contracts, so he won’t sign until he’s 100% comfortable that he’s ready to stay for its duration.
It’s not having a downer on the club. It’s understanding that pep has never stayed at a club as long as he has here and we’re all in unchartered waters.

My gut feeling was that he’d stay until taking the USA job for their home World Cup, but that obviously didn’t happen!
I’m not sure Pep will ever be an international manager, but I’m 100% KFA!

Anything can happen in football, but realistically where can Guardiola go next that offers him what he's already got at City, apart from sunshine?
Pep manages a football club in the toughest league in the world, where he's adored by the fans, feared by the opposition, fully supported by the owner & Chairman, & works hand in glove with his two best mates who've helped him build his dream squad, with an exciting generation of young talent waiting to explode on world football.
Why do City fans think Pep would leave all this behind, as long as he has the dressing room & the continued backing of those upstairs?
Where next? Dippers? ManUre? Chavs? ArseAnal? Spuds? I can't see it. He's already done Bayern & Barça so I find it hard to see him at Real, Atletico or Dortmund. How about Milan? Inter or Juvé? What about PSG? Personally, I can't see it.
Many say he wants to try his hand at international management, but can you really see Pep Guardiola only managing Nations League matches, & the world Cup & Euros every two years? And which nation? Spain? Brazil? England? Germany?
We should all have realised by now that Pep Guardiola was always Sheikh Mansour's masterplan, & everything at Manchester City was built & prepared for Baldy's eventual arrival. As Pep has always intimated, as long as the players & fans are with him, the management back him & he can keep bringing success to Manchester City, he's happy where he is.
Why & where could Pep possibly get what he's currently got in Manchester? We really need to stop wishing the worst on ourselves.
