Viana might continue his sporting approach here. Signs the players that have potential to be world class who are young. So I’m thinking the guy from Shakhtar etc. easier to do a rebuild when the price isn’t extreme.

Harwood Bellis and Delap on buy backs would be a start.

Midfield seems that Zubimendi is being bandied about. Ricci from Torino could also be a good option.

Porro would have been a good option at RB.

Remember I was being absolutely ridiculed last summer on this forum for thinking the window was a 3/10 (at best). Most was thinking a window were we got rid of serial winners like Mahrez/Laporte/Gundogan + our most talented youngster Palmer with Gvardiol as the only elite signing joining was a 8/10 (or better), some was even saying it was a 11/10. "Pep once said Nunes is world class", "Doku looks insane on youtube" "Kovacic should be able to offer the same as Gundogan" "thats an crazy amount for Palmer, no-brainer".

When are the nominations for the best touchline manager of the year awards ? :)

I’m not sure about Sudakov, but I’d rather we identified technically excellent players and brought those in to play in the midfield/attacking positions. The German players are good but there must be doubts as to whether we can land either, and we might need 5 players next summer.

We absolutely have to start in January because if we carry on as we are, we are probably going to be in a top 4 battle this season of which we could end up being 5th or 6th. We cannot allow arrogance to take that for granted.

If we finish outside of the top 4, attracting the likes of Wirtz and co is going to be even more difficult.

If United win today there will be just 6 points between 2nd and 12th. The top 4 race could be brutal this year as it's looking likely as the season goes on that it could be an open field this year for top 4/5.
