Yeah I guess there a release clause/gentleman’s agreement price.

I do agree and given our current circumstances maybe we go for a more experienced player which would be Zubi. Could also be moving for a midfielder in the summer depending on Kov, Gundo, McAtee, Bernado. Always worth doing extensive due diligence on genuine targets.

Well if we do bring 2 in and want to register Echeverri then we are full and won't be able to register Rodri. Doubt we will get 2 myself. Most of the transfers will wait until we have a full market to use in the summer.Plus the players that need replacing won't be going anywhere before the summer.

We’ll see on the two signings or one, nobody knows for sure.

Personally I think that the hierarchy will be petrified about missing out on the top four - Soriano is solely interested in our revenue - and so they’ll do whatever is required in January to get us where we need to be.

I would think that the plans around Echeverri would be the least of our concerns, and if he has to stay on loan for another six months in order to allow for more significant signings then he will do. It’s hardly the best environment to bring him into at the moment.
