It isn't. Even the top players do struggle initally to really settle after a big move. With Sergio it was a little hit and miss during his earlier years and he did join earlier on in the season.All this bollocks about settling into a new league is a pile of shit. Even if they don't perform to their top level straight away the player would benefit from the extra few months experience in playing in the league. There is also no chance of an extended bedding in period in the summer now with there being only three weeks between the league ending and club world cup starting.
