In their current guises? Of course we can. They should be learning off elite, clinical wingers/forwards so that they can take over from them in a few years. Can we?

Pep's system isn't dependant on wingers and both were brought in as a different dimension. Doku has chipped in with the goals, Savinho with assist (and with a bit more good fortune would have added with his goal tally)In their current guises? Of course we can. It is at the moment as we have zero central creativity without them.Pep's system isn't dependant on wingers and both were brought in as a different dimension. Doku has chipped in with the goals, Savinho with assist (and with a bit more good fortune would have added with his goal tally)
Both are creative enough in Pep's system. The issue with Doku is fitness and with Savinho it is first season at City and he still only 20 and has joined us after a highly promising season at Girona. With a bit of good fortune with the latter and he would be amongst the goals. It is at the moment as we have zero central creativity without them.
I’m not suggesting that they are bad players, merely that we would be doing better with established, seasoned wingers.
For instance, if Mahrez was still here, (just an example, not wanting his return) he’d have more than one assist.
I didn't mean better wingers, i meant better playersCan we? Pep's choice system doesn't "need" wingers and both were brought in as an alternative.
The question was if we could do better. The obvious answer is yes. Both are creative enough in Pep's system. Both have wriggle room to improve and both were brought in with one eye on working with Pep.The question was if we could do better. The obvious answer is yes.
Absolutely, as squad options as they develop. Both have wriggle room to improve and both were brought in with one eye on working with Pep.
Sane had early troubles adapating with working with Pep.Absolutely, as squad options as they develop.
