Pep's system isn't dependant on wingers and both were brought in as a different dimension. Doku has chipped in with the goals, Savinho with assist (and with a bit more good fortune would have added with his goal tally)In their current guises? Of course we can. I’m not suggesting that they are bad players, merely that we would be doing better with established, seasoned wingers.
For instance, if Mahrez was still here, (just an example, not wanting his return) he’d have more than one assist.
Both are creative enough in Pep's system. The issue with Doku is fitness and with Savinho it is first season at City and he still only 20 and has joined us after a highly promising season at Girona. I didn't mean better wingers, i meant better playersCan we? Pep's choice system doesn't "need" wingers and both were brought in as an alternative.

We need a big 6'4+ CB.. Van Dijk coulda had hattrick vs us with better heading. He'd been lucky to get on end of one when we had Vinny. We miss that.
Both have wriggle room to improve and both were brought in with one eye on working with Pep.The question was if we could do better. The obvious answer is yes.
