It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I never thought the board or whoever would allow the club to get to this level. The recruitment the last 3 seasons has been horrid and we've allowed players to age without finding an heir.The small squad philosophy also has hampered us.

Ederson looks like he's checked out and regrets not going in the summer.

As much as I love Stones and Ake they can't be relied on with the number of games we play.

Gundo, Silva and Kev look tired and like their legs have gone completely. Not buying a back up DM after the fiasco that was Phillips, was an obvious error many could see. Nunes was a panic buy and isn't the quality we should be looking at.

Grealish, Doku and Savio haven't got a goal in them.

Haaland looks done in too and doesn't seem to be trying most of the time, which is why we needed a second striker but for some reason didn't buy one after Alvarez left.
 
Dont bother spending in January....we will get lumbered with very average players for huge fees like Bruno G......get him and its another step in the wrong direction
Save it all for the summer rebuild.....take our medicine.....and rebuild over the summer

Sell/let go:
KDB
Gundo
Stones
Ake
Bernardo
Walker
Nunes
Maybe one of the goalkeepers as well

Wirtz should be target number 1, 2 and 3 and rebuild your team around him plus a world class 6 to cover for Rodri - none of this we cant have two world class players in every position...we need someone to come and compete with Rodri for his place - there is no guarantee he is coming back the same player.

We will get at least a DM in. No chance they will further risk finishing outside top 4/5.

In my opinion, we will buy two, possibly three players. I don't think that this was intended, but will be driven by the recent run. This will be in addition to the arrival of Echeverri.

In the summer, I think we will probably buy two more, and some players will go.
I hope that we will see some academy talent given their opportunity too.

I think this team is in need of an overhaul with 4-5 players leaving and 6-8 joining. But I am also one that has been complaining about us weakening the squad by repeatedly letting several elite players leave without properly replacing them ever since we won the treble, meaning we are basically "behind" on 2 years of transfer business. I do agree thats unrealistic in January however.
2-3 players in January could make a positive difference (but most likely not enough to win the league). My guess is however these signings will more be in the level of Pepelu, Echeverri and possibly a defender of similar level, adding a bit more quantity without adding much immediate quality. With other words, not enough.

Pep wanted Bruno G, so Bruno G is the guy we will get also Pep likes Eze which was briefed in the summer also.
