Not a chance we’re selling stones. World class when fit, offers experience and is a big character in the dressing room. He’d be a huge miss.

If we did sign him, it would make me question our choices. We had Harwood Bellis who I think has a higher ceiling than him and cost nothing

I love him mate, but “when fit” is the key point.

He’s made of glass and we need to plan for life without him, because we are already without him so often.

If there's not enough spots left we can just remove names currently on the registration list off it regardless if they have been sold yet or not when reinforcements arrive. Given our current situation we cant wait and see whatever bids come in on players we would be open to move, we need reinforcements regardless. Players being removed might have a problem with it but with 1 win in 11 half the squad should realise they are at risk of being forced out since the results are unacceptable.

Not optimal from a financial point of view but optimal is a luxury we might have to ignore given the current state of the team.

Branthwaite has a much larger physical presence, THB is quite weak for his size. Either way, I think you could get better CBs abroad for that price

I think that comes with experience though. Bellis isn’t exactly smaller either.

Im on board with anyone 5+ years under our mean average age who brings some semblance of grit and fight to this side again. Weve grown old, small and jello soft.

That won’t happen, easy to say just remove players on a forum. Not so much in the real world. I know chelsea have done it but we aren’t chelsea.Besides we don’t need to, we won’t be buying more than a couple in January.
