I agree, I dont think we will. But of course we can remove players. Not how we usually do things but we dont usually have 1 win in 11 either. Poor results can have consequences and I assume the players are well aware of that. If you dont perform there is always a risk you might be forced out. Nothing unique to Chelsea, happens all the time.

I'd love the rumours of 2-4 signings to be true but it seems very out of character for us. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see no first-team players come in.

The club need to shore up the centre of midfield and plan for the future.
I understand that at the beginning of the season this wasn't necessarily a priority with a rotation of Rodri, Kovacic and Gundo, but with the Rodri out, Kovacic seemingly a bit injury prone and Gundo playing every game, it's become a necessity imo.

Touchameani seems unhappy playing as a defender, so he would be my preference. We also need a new RB/CB and another striker imo so i could see three coming in.

Sell Bernardo as well, he’s offering very little really these days; zero goal threat and very few assists, plus he’s physically quite weak. We need more powerful, dynamic midfielders.

Nunes should go too, simply not the required standard.

If it’s possible to shift either Grealish or Doku then it should be done if this guy is available. Neither good enough for where we want to get back to.
