You are hell bent in spinning Palmer being as effective as Foden at City when he clearly wasn't.
Right now he's more effective than our entire team put together.

So are dozens of players in the premier league at the moment. Doesn’t make them all the right players to build our future around. It would be nice if he was still around now but he’s not so forget about him.Right now he's more effective than our entire team put together.

Why? We made a huge mistake and it's pretty evident we didn't learnt from it.

He wasn't sold because he wasnt effective. He was sold because we refused to let him go out on loan. Foden would have been as well if he at any moment pushed for a loan when it was clear that he could have started more regularily for any other team. Luckily he didn't. Palmer did. And Man City lost in that scenario. Not Palmer. Not Chelsea. Not a win-win scenario because our already performing aging players managed to win another title despite selling a young squad player. We lost that and will be reminded of it for the next 15 years because he is absolutely mustard.
And currently we have young players on the bench while our senior players stink the place out. Think we will learn?
