They weren't, but I wasn't far off, because they are miles ahead of us now, and I said it in light of them signing some really good player at that time. I wanted them here and they were available at reasonable prices. They weren't the only ones too, there were so many players that we could have targeted. We have ourselves to blame for this mess.

Why are they not accurate?
Difficult to sign in Jan is true as clubs will be reluctant to sell their best assets mid season ( and assumes the player indeed wants to move)

When you work to a budget, affordability is an obvious factor
