It’s unlikely that we’ve done nothing, but dealing in January for top players isn’t easy.Not a case of being impatient, but we’ve had 3 months since Rodders to get our ducks in a row awaiting 1st Jan, I’d like to think we aren’t just getting round to it now.
The worst case scenario is that we don’t sign anyone. That seems unlikely, but we’ve got 4 weeks to see what can be done.
As ancoats said, any signing won’t be playing on Saturday and then if we can’t beat Salford with what we have then we are in trouble!
We could then focus on staying up though!

any number of reasons for delays as well, player wanted to hold an answer due to injury/family, selling club needs to line up a replacement as well before the go ahead, changed minds, agent arseholery, etc. lots of wheels in motion any one thing can hold up.It’s unlikely that we’ve done nothing, but dealing in January for top players isn’t easy.

think anyone expecting someone in the first week was/is amazingly optimistic or naïve

Valladolid will want him to remain on loan until the end of the season. We might sign him in January, but unless Valladolid wants JSP on loan, I doubt he’d play for City before the Club World CupOk will keep an eye on this then, then we can revisit it in the future.
