It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I don't know mate, never done it. I just feel we are far to slow nowadays. God I have seen some shit at City, and fully realise football goes in cycles. Our recruitment over the last five windows has been slow, predictable and not forward thinking in my opinion.
@Paul1970 and @Fordyboy46 , if it happens it happens ,if it doesn't well it doesn't, im sure its not for the want of trying.

So how come Chelsea manage to make it look easy I mean didn’t they just go in and get enzo and co in Jan . It’s easy if you really wanted to sign players
chelsea have done this why haven't we, have you heard yourself, you sound like a spoilt 10 year old

They making the decision at midday! It will be off just because the way it is now worried about what could happen to people! How do Scotland or other countries go in when there is a snow?!

Unless you or he can prove the club have done nothing, then he's wrong.
Well they haven’t managed to recruit well since we won the treble. If you look at what’s come in what upgrades have we seen? A few that would hopefully be good enough future and then just really poor signings.

Is that how it works then? When clubs say no we just pay a bit extra? These clubs have their own seasons, their own targets and fans. When they t say they aren’t selling their best player(s) in January, maybe they just mean they aren’t selling.
Lest’s say we have a list of 3 DMs we really want for the next 5 years ,should we scrap that and buy a player we never really wanted?

But some clubs are just built to sell? Say the 3 options are Zubimendi, Ederson and Nico Gonzalez, 2 of them have release clauses so it’s all about the players? If both say no now then imo it’s a lifestyle choice and not sporting? So that would leave Ederson and if Atalanta would normally value at €50m but don’t want to sell but we think he could be a mainstay for the next 5 years plus and help us get top 4 now, push on in the champions a league and maybe win a trophy then we should offer €70-75m if he could help with that? All clubs know we desperately need reinforcements now and the same in the summer so time of year isn’t going to make that much difference?

I think that Chelsea are a really poor example of how transfer business should be carried out. They have made a number of rash purchases (admittedly with one or two exceptions). They now have a very large squad of players who are earning very good wages on long contracts. Some big names in there can’t get a game and other clubs are not interested in them.
