It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I think that Chelsea are a really poor example of how transfer business should be carried out. They have made a number of rash purchases (admittedly with one or two exceptions). They now have a very large squad of players who are earning very good wages on long contracts. Some big names in there can’t get a game and other clubs are not interested in them.

Yeah but they're currently above us in the league and that's all that matters to some.

And City`s would be `if you have a release clause for the 115, you do not need to uproot your family for 6 months leave them there. As for summer we will not have a vacancy in that department`

Depends on what your family consists of I guess
Hi love can you mind the 3 young kids for 6 months or so I’m off abroad
If you can’t wait until Summer that’s fine I will play elsewhere I’m good enough
Thanks but no thanks - who really knows
But surely you accept the 115 will affect some ?

We seriously need to bolster the midfield this window.
The personnel that we’re playing are not up the job of protecting the already leaky defence and Peps reluctance to use a youthful O’Reilly speaks volumes.
The club have to pay what it takes to get someone in, who can cover and also compliment Rodri once he returns.
Whoever that may be I don’t know, but if it is the difference between top 4 and champions league football next season, then get it done.

No mate i think the 115 excuse is bullshit made up by media to downsize just how much players want to play for City. only failure to qualify for the CL will cause City not getting what they want. Take a good look at what is happening right across Europe, clubs downsizing due to wages, look at the amount of players refusing new contracts. Then tell the kids, sorry kids you are just going to have to go to that crap school.

Hard to disagree and I think this is the problem. A DM/CM is required more or less immediately but also for the longer term. I think the club are mindful of a Phillips or Nunes situation whereby a player signs for a decent fee but doesn't deliver. It's a tricky one.

Never heard of him, but he is a RIGHT BACK. Hallelujah!

edit: He did play against us.
