Specialist leftback, whats that ???I’d expect someone like Gvardiol to come in if Laporte leaves but under no circumstances should Ake be considered as our first choice left back. We need a specialist in that area.

We have been conceding sloppy goals this season, so if we can improve with a young centreback then Its a good move, will be sad to see Aymeric depart though as his long rang passing will be missedWe need Gvardiol as much as anyone. Laporte is on his way out and this YOUNG wonderkid is a fantastic LB too with massive experience already
Call me harsh but I genuinely cant wait for Laporte, Gundog and Bernardo to go. Callous but bloody true. Be fantastic if they can finish with some silverware obvsWe have been conceding sloppy goals this season, so if we can improve with a young centreback then Its a good move, will be sad to see Aymeric depart though as his long rang passing will be missed
3-4-3 as the main variation of options? We'd need intelligent, technical & tactically astute reinforcements then.i wonder if laporte leaves as expected and Pep carries on with 3 at the back most times that we sign Gvardiol as an improvement for that role? We just need a shake up and with Stones unfortunately getting regular injuries throughout the season then everyone will get plenty of game time and Ake can ply LB if we do a flat back 4?
I’d love nothing more than for Gundogan to stick around for a couple years (gradually less involved) and then be given a coaching role with the academy ladsCall me harsh but I genuinely cant wait for Laporte, Gundog and Bernardo to go. Cracking player would deffo take him.According to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs in CaughtOffSide, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s Pep Guardiola want to sign Southampton right-back Tino Livramento.
