It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Gundogan, Bernardo and Mahrez are all creators. That cannot be replaced immediately. You would only rely on the Kev to Haaland axis and some brilliance from the wings. Bernardo is just irreplaceable. We don't yet know how Kovacic is going to fare. Can he replace Gundo?
About the bench, who is going to be back-ups for the wingers. Who would replace Kev or Rodri if unavailable. Your bench is only Alvarez for the whole offensive line. It's not a bench for a title run.
Foden is as creative as Bernardo, maybe slightly more-so and a better finisher. I think Kovacic can be creative and with Pep reach Gundogan levels. My bench has two or three spaces for new signings including a winger and attacking midfielder and already inludes McAtee.
Bernardo is no more irreplaceable than Toure, David Silva, Kompany, Aguero, Fernandinho were. Neither is Gundogan. Though think one if not both stay.

Another thing with Walker, he's shown some appetite for media work. Pops up on 5Live quite often.

If he wanted to go that way after football, winning 3 bundesliga's and a few DFB Pokal's would be enough to get him on the pundit panel of any match involving a German side in the CL or even German international matches.

Add that to his existing affiliations to City and Spurs and he'd be on every week if he wants to be.
You're giving him too much intellectual credit. No way Kyle thinks in those terms.

They are not idiots. That's why they either 1) not release them 7 all at once, or 2) they have a long-term plan.

Pep is building his 3rd City team.

The first was built around Kun, David, Kompany, Walker and Fernandinho. They won 100 pts and the domestic quadruple.

The second was built around Dias, Rodri, Walker, Cancelo, Gundogan, Bernardo. They won 3 league titles in a row and the Treble.

The third will be built around Dias, Gvardiol, Rodri, Foden, Haaland, Grealish... Hopefully they'll win more PLs and CLs.

Ederson, Stones and KDB will be the links between all three Pep City teams.

No 3) they release them and the long term plan was formed months ago knowing this might happen and they will be ready to go next season. Only one player is left from Pep arriving we have refreshed this team a few times without dropping off. We will do it again with a team for his last 2 years and beyond without dropping off.

Agree to disagree.

Kovacic seems like the Gundogan signing for the third build. Multiple capped international, a winner , played in winning sides, injury ridden last season but still a quality player.

Agree...but his management will be thinking exactly along those lines as they'll continue to take a percentage even after his footballing days are over.
