The frustration totally depends on someone leaving. If no one leaves and Kovacic joins it’s magic. Veiga and Kovacic replacing Bernardo is also decent.

The other option that is solid is Foden going into midfield and City going for 1-2 wingers instead after Kovacic

Foden moving in centrally could be the most optimal transition for City with minimal stutter. Kovacic Gundo Kdb Foden being for two positions is ideal and then replace Gundo in a year or two, with McAtee coming in eventually.

But this means City gotta look at 1-2 wingers in a market that is dry. But rather go for a winger than a midfielder in todays market.
