Think that ship has sailed already, Vinny just signed a CBs and needs to sell one before he can sign Tah.
 
acccording to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are open to selling Ilkay Gundogan despite his decent performances at Euro 2024. The Germany international joined on a free transfer from Manchester City last summer. He has since made 51 appearances for the club, starting 45 of those games. He scored five goals and provided 14 assists across competitions last season.
 
Brunos release clause expiring tonight. Wonder if we’ll move on to someone else or make a bid before the PSR deadline at the end of the month? If we had no intentions of exercising the release clause tonights deadline doesn’t really matter, but doubt they let him go for much less than the release clause

Can’t see them selling for less than the release clause though?

It is costing us in transfer fee, circa 5-10m a year. I can't see the club doing that every year till his contract runs out, even assuming we pay nothing to his wages. Which I believe we paid at Bayern but not at Barcelona.

Unless Ilkay wants to move then that is pretty shabby. He was great for them last season and has been one of the best players at the Euros. If he does move I hope it is on his terms and to a club where he will be appreciated.
