I don't see how Toney works as he'd likely not want back up minutes esp at the salary it sounds he's been looking for.
Can’t imagine we’d entertain Toney at all.I don't see how Toney works as he'd likely not want back up minutes esp at the salary it sounds he's been looking for.
probably 4th with Welbeck as well.ironically hed be further up the pecking order here than at brighton, he seems to be third behind pedro and rutter at brighton hed only be behind haaland here.
I’d be more than happy with either of them. Can’t really see either happening though. So Ferguson or Toney?
Yeah, Brentford want Haaland on loan to replace Toney, we're considering it and will carry on paying Erling's wagesPeople presuming we are interested in a Brighton or brentford player.
May be the other way round.
Agree on both. The price is indeed likely to be an issue. I know it isn't like us, but there might be a loan in there to suit everyone. His value will drop if he doesn't play regularly, and Brighton won't want that. They probably won't get what they are looking for now, but could maintain the price into next summer, and put him in the window in the meantime. Unlikely, but not illogical.

Lewis-Potter makes more sense than Toney.
Still hope it’s Mbwemo though.
Yeah that guy!Would you take Mbeumo as well? ;)
From the bits I've seen of Ferguson, I'd be happy for him to be challenging & rotating with Haaland, but as we've seen with Bloom previously, he's a tough negotiator, so meeting his asking price may again be an issue.
