Frankly at this stage if underwhelming can simply still show up for most of the games and do a solid shift- I'll take that over fits and starts during a seasons where the first handful of games are rubbish- then up to speed for 2 games, stellar for 1 then out for 2 months- rinse- repeat.
It's where we are with Kev- like it or not. We got here with Segio, with Fernandinho, with Kompany to an extent. He's lost the spark he had because it take shim so long to rediscover it after lengthy injury. Even when in games you can see him visibly annoyed if something doesn't come off- and half the time of late he was the reason it didn't. He's always had that way but used to he'd bark and get after others and they'd make good- now I think most of that is annoyance with himself for not being the Kev we all knew.
Still the best crosser I've ever seen in blue- but times come and go.
