Could be that we give the cockroaches in the media bugger all over the way they've reported the 115, and I wouldn't blame em!If there are no rumours which means something is happening in the background - lost it’s meaning lost it’s meaning 2-3 years back when it comes to city.
It’s like waiting for Bellingham and Rice quietly and all we could muster is calling Agent Mendes to save our ass and get us Nunes.
Similarly last year when we got Savinho from our sister club and Gundogun - because Barca is broke yet wanting Dani Almo so Gundo had to leave!
Hopefully we see multiple rumours and quick sighing soon.
Don’t expect a Bernardo Silva type signing out of the blue now. Somehow we have stopped shopping in that market now.

We haven't needed to be active in January in previous campaigns. The club need to make some signings because of injuries and the decline of several players. We might have to pay more to get players in but desperate times. I don't think we'll buy for the sake of it, but if we can bring in a couple of additions to balance the workload of others we'll do it. A lot have been playing through injuries or fatigue and we need reinforcements to ensure they can get back to their best.

I agree that we do need a couple in but I think the board will see only Rodri as being long term injured with the others back soon, and we can ride it out until the summer. That Laporte signings was because pep insisted we needed another centre back! Pep now saying we need signings says to me we will sign 2/3 players..

The way I see it a marquee signing this month will be hard Dani Olmo situation may make that a slight chance to get him. But will the club screw over Barca with the links in our club to Barca I highly doubt. A holding midfielder could be sorted or a hybrid that can do a bit of both. I just don't see any club selling to us on the cheap we will need to hit buy out clauses to get anyone. As I said before a left back may be a easy get if we risk either Chilwell or Tierney but can't see Arsenal selling so leaves Chilwell I think he might be the signing we get. A back up striker too but finding a younger player being creative we could get Ferguson on loan or go for the Celtic striker from the summer we were linked with.
