It's Quiet 32 - enter at own risk

That's all good while we have Pep here as it is almost guaranteed he'll improve players. But he won't be here forever.
No he won’t but he’s putting the foundations (style of play, winning mentality, development plans) in place for the future. We’ll obviously have a drop off short term after he leaves because that’s just natural but that doesn’t mean we won’t be successful or stop developing players.

That’s the owners vision and always will be, this was never a short term project hence why we have spent a fuck load of money on the Etihad campus and academy. That’s why we’ve tried getting the next manager in training whether that’s Vieira, Arteta or even Vinny. It may not work out like that but if not I’m sure we have a plan in place and managers in mind to continue what we’ve got even if Pep left tomorrow.

I guess Rodri, Felix and Cancelo if they come will only make that transition into world class after a year or two of being coached by Pep.
Okay.

Ronaldo has changed the dynamics at Juventus and it certainly isn’t for the better. I work with two match going (when they’re not away for work) Italian Juventus supporters who can’t stand him and the general consensus is that he’s all about himself and ruins the team spirit/morale because it’s 10 players playing for him. So I’d hardly class that as very good, it was visible in their Champions League collapse to Ajax. The contrast between a team fighting for each other and Juventus just playing as individuals, usually you could put that down to the manager but 5 years shows that’s not the case. The owners went above Allegri’s head and that’s why it’s come to him leaving now.

The same things you say about Hazard were said about Pogba, Kante, Coutinho etc. there is no guarantees in football EVER!!

So we’re the best run club in the world, have just won a double followed by a treble (+1), have the majority of our players tied to long term contracts in a sensible wage structure based on rewarding hard work and success AND you want to change it?

Absolutely fucking clueless, genuinely it baffles me how people like you function day to day. It’s like talking to Paul Merson, only he talks more sense, has more financial awareness is probably less intoxicated judging by your posts.
So your not in complete agreement with him then ;-)

Of course we'll be successful and developing players, but things will be much more even with other clubs then. With Pep you have "unfair" advantage.

Just a quick one though. Pep made Silva and Kdb world class CMs?
Yes he did. When Pep came we were trying to sign Pogba because we were short in that department as Yaya was on his last legs and when Utd signed him instead there was a meltdown amongst City fans because many thought we had made a mistake. Pep improvised by making KDB and Silva play that Yaya role and it worked perfectly. Previously both players were almost always attacking midfielders or inverted wingers. Most people thought that Silva couldn't handle the hustle and bustle in playing deeper in CM for example
Yes, again your spot on there.
However, these are good players with strong personalities and technical ability, not Callum who has been kicking around in the reserves for Rotherham. I would have expected them to adapt to the circumstances and take there chance in this City side.
I think of the two though the work he has done with Zinchy has been very very impressive. Delph I think always had that in him adaptable and disciplined.
Rotherham? How many managers have signed and improved players to become world class from there?

In relation to your reference about Rotherham, I did not think you would take that literally.
Look I ll leave it there as I dont agree with a lot of what's in your post but I guess thats okay, we can disagree.

However, what I will say is that if you think when Pep came we were trying to sign Pogba, your mistaken. Pep was clear within the media when he was winding up the reds last year that Pogba was offered to him through his agent. Pep gave it a thanks but no thanks. City or Pep whilst Pep is in the picture would not go anywhere near Pogba.
