Taking away emotion from the deal and Alves makes a lot of sense, I could see Pep giving the go ahead.

Alves for the next two years whilst we bring through someone like Dionkou is a great plan on paper. Alves knows what Pep wants, is as fit as a fiddle and would fit in alongside Fernandinho, Eddie and Jesus etc.
