He's one of the best CB's in the league, is good with the ball at feet and we could get him for the same price as Otamendi is leaving for. Tons of experience in Europe and the the PL, he's going to be 3rd choice hopefully anyway.

Poor injury record? He had 1 injury, the 17/18 season. Started 50 games this season.

I was thinking that the squad rules should have an allowance for player loyalty, where they don’t take up space in the 23 man squad.

For example if Silva is with us 10 years and over 33 we should be allowed an extra foreign player.

That way there is not pressure to replace these club legend players with younger models and instead allow clubs to protect themselves from the uncertainty of age while still remaining loyal to players that have done likewise.

This should benefit all clubs regardless of wealth.... I think???

I think Messi did the same. I remember reading a few years ago that the Argentinian love for red meat had been linked to muscle injuries and that Messi was told to cut it to avoid strains. Aguero joined him and claims it is working. Not sure of the science but others would probably confirm it is a solid strategy.

Meaningless. The 2017 transfer window opened on 9th June but we'd already done Bernardo on the 25/5 and Ederson on the 8th June.

Talk about stating the fucking obvious, of course there’s other possible reasons for someone not getting injured but it’s quite a coincidence isn’t it. Even Sergio says it helps but he must be a liar jumping to the same exact conclusion too I suppose.
