Would be happy with either, both an upgrade on Stones.

The last two seasons John Stones has started the season outstandingly but faded badly.

To be fair he had mid season injuries both seasons and struggled after them.

So we're now saying if two centre backs come in to replace Stones and Komps, there just going to hit the ground running with a system it took a whole season for are current squad to work out.

I think Maguire is ok; sufficiently so that I'd have no issue with City signing him if that's what Pep wants but as competition for Stones, not as a replacement.
