Real Madrid wouldn't think twice of making such a deal.
If we're aspiring to that level, maybe we shouldn't either.

Real Madrid are on a level above us and they could take the loss if he falters, they can take the criticism too because they are the most successful club out there.

He's not the worlds best player and may never be that, it seems crazy for an 18y.o whos done very little(forget the stats skewed by an uncompetitive French league) compared to the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Suarez and so on he's just beginning his path. Are we really saying we are at the level right now where we can be taking gambles like this? We'll get slaughtered in the press if he flops and it will be used to downplay anything we achieve this season.
