Looks like 2 are down Dahoud and Isco.
Not buying this at all, yet.
Dahoud - no mainstream German media is reporting he's picked Dortmund. Kicker would be nailed on, but even lesser sources like SZ or Bild have been silent. He may well go to BVB, but I don't think anything has been decided.
Just reading through the few articles on it in German and they don't even seem to say City are in on him, instead citing Liverpool as Dortmund's main competition despite the latter dropping interest last window.
Isco - no extension announced, only rumours from the pro-Real media that it was close. Since then, several Madrid stalwarts have taken to social media and even used international pre/post-match interviews to call on him to stay. Doesn't seem to be something that should be necessary if a deal is close.
Both could be off the table, but I still think it's too soon to make that call.
Agree, we can forget about Dahoud and Weigl.
Dahoud is Gundogan's replacement.
I keep seeing this argument and I don't get it. Castro has been a revelation for Dortmund alongside Weigl this season.
That said, arguably Tuchel is moving away from multiple deeper midfielders in favour of a more "Pep-like" formation anyway (4-1-4-1 is his most played formation in all comps) and that's because Dortmund are blessed with some of the most ridiculously good midfielders in the game (Dembele, Pulisic, Reus, Castro, Gurreirio, Durm, Schmelzer, Schurrle)
I don't see them holding on to all of the above this summer and I don't agree that simply because Dortmund are in for Dahoud that Weigl is off limits.
