It's Quiet - a new dawn

Looks like 2 are down Dahoud and Isco.

Not buying this at all, yet.

Dahoud - no mainstream German media is reporting he's picked Dortmund. Kicker would be nailed on, but even lesser sources like SZ or Bild have been silent. He may well go to BVB, but I don't think anything has been decided.
Just reading through the few articles on it in German and they don't even seem to say City are in on him, instead citing Liverpool as Dortmund's main competition despite the latter dropping interest last window.

Isco - no extension announced, only rumours from the pro-Real media that it was close. Since then, several Madrid stalwarts have taken to social media and even used international pre/post-match interviews to call on him to stay. Doesn't seem to be something that should be necessary if a deal is close.

Both could be off the table, but I still think it's too soon to make that call.

Agree, we can forget about Dahoud and Weigl.

Dahoud is Gundogan's replacement.

I keep seeing this argument and I don't get it. Castro has been a revelation for Dortmund alongside Weigl this season.

That said, arguably Tuchel is moving away from multiple deeper midfielders in favour of a more "Pep-like" formation anyway (4-1-4-1 is his most played formation in all comps) and that's because Dortmund are blessed with some of the most ridiculously good midfielders in the game (Dembele, Pulisic, Reus, Castro, Gurreirio, Durm, Schmelzer, Schurrle)

I don't see them holding on to all of the above this summer and I don't agree that simply because Dortmund are in for Dahoud that Weigl is off limits.

What are your views on Bravo?

Very confident before he arrives.

Why wouldn't I be confident in a manager who brought in Sane and Jesus?

In my post I said 'confident'. I never said 'guarantee'. There are no guarantees when it comes to football.

However, if Pep thinks Barclay can be very good for us then I would be more confident in his opinion than posters on Bluemoon who don't even know what style of play Pep will favour next season and not as knowledgeable as Pep on what we need to deliver what he wants.

Love the Tolmie posts, but if Dahoud goes to Dortmund; Id urge all to stop getting so giddy when he posts

Not being funny, he said Pogba was city bound and now looks to have cocked the Dahoud rumour up

No doubt some will take offence to this, but if his name was city MccCity face, he would be banned on this forum.

I blame that Ric fella!

How do you know City dint walk away from Pogba due to agent fees,or wage demands?
As for Dahoud....how do you cock a "rumour" up?
Shit changes very quickly in football......

That doesn't discredit what he says though - people shouldnt be so giddy when Tolmie or any user "in the know" posts comments on the transfer forum as we have seen that things change very quickly in football and certain deals don't happen for loads of different reasons even if the info passed on is genuine and reliable.

Why is anyone talking about Ross Barkley when we have the richest owner in world football and the best manager in world football?

Not entirely sure what to make of this list, it could be used in every thread on the entire topic to try and stifle debate.
