So he can improve ... as I said. However good he is,our Coach demands more,so there will be plenty of opportunities for all midfielders to constantly hit those levels. If not, then there will always be another one to step forward.
I`m not slagging KDB off ... but he needs to show more consistency ... and tackle.
Pep doesn't do tackling Oakie,we keep the ball and kev is not really made for that

KDB recovered the most balls in the squad...

Oh and this is the person you said should ‘command’ the spot in the starting 11? Are you sure?

Asking KDB to tackle more to command a place in the first 11 now thats priceless :)
I really don't like one player being compared to another,it rarely makes sense and for me it should be does he contribute to the team and not x should be more like z but then i think football is a fairly simple game

Nobody will be commanding a first 11 place next season, KDB, Silva, Silva and Gundogan will all be playing in the 2 forward midfield places (the 8 and 10) and all will play 30 plus games injuries permitting.

A few players on that list I'd like here. Tomorrow Horn, good young keeper that is comfortable with the ball at his feet. Zieler, home grown and wants out of Leicester, and I believe also good with his feet. Obviously, Toni Kroos and Marco Reus would be of interest.

Hopefully it isn't Felix Kroos we are looking to bring in instead of Toni. :)
ala M Hughes signing for Strasbourg when they got Michael and their fans thought it was Leslie??

Not every player needs to be able to dominate games in a yaya sort of way, some would say dave doesn't either (not my view) kev's role is to create for others,he is a higher risk player in terms of moving the ball foward so comparing him to dave is not very fair,if the others had been able to finish his assist stats would be mental

I wasn't comparing him to Dave Karen I wouldn't be that cruel to any player!!! I was just saying if he could learn to dictate a game like merlin then we would have 1 hell of a player. The comments are right they do complement each other well but it shows when Dave is missing I think that's the reason Bernardo was brought in.

I think bernie is much the same as dave and thats what he needs as well as us,running a game is just not kevs skill set,pep playing him deep to do what yaya or dave does has really stalled him imo and i hope he doesn't keep playing him there
