Still think sterling will be in the starting line up on a fairly regular basis this season. His first half of the season was as good as sane second half. Everyone couldn't wait to write off sane after his derby debut and subsequent matches. No one warmed to him until arsenal and now the only forwards worth keeping around are sane and Jesus?! Sterling will improve along with sane.

Aguero, sterling, sane, Jesus, and snachez would likely start a very similar number of games and with all 5 staying fresh and less likely to be injured that's a scary thought.

If Aguero was to leave City he would have been put on the market by now and very likely sold.

Players like Aguero have saga's over their heads and you can kind of anticipate a sale happening way in advance and it hasn't.

I totally agree, selling hart and bringing bravo in then selling arguably the best and most influential player in the clubs history, these would be brought up time and time again to discredit anything pep did. Can't see it though if aguero left he'd probably get the chance to wave goodbye like zabba has and yaya will.
 
I really don't understand why some on here keep picking a preferred eleven, when we are building a squad, and need more than eleven players to chase four trophies. What we are building is a realistic chance to challenge for all four, whilst covering for the injuries that are certain to happen. There will be more than enough game time for Jesus, Sergio and Sanchez/Mbappe to play, and when someone like Sergio does get an injury, we will have a player to step in, without there being a massive drop in quality.

I think unlike before, we are signing players that buy into the City philosophy, and can no longer be classed as just chasing the money. With Pep at the helm, we have a manager in place that players want to play and learn under. Gone are the days when we lose out on the stars, just for who we are, and who we were coached by.

I believe this season will be something special for all of us to enjoy, I have followed this team for far too long, to stress about how we are going to fit four or five quality forwards into the team.
