£223m there if sanchez comes at the £50m? Bertrand @ £30m makes £253m which would leave enough for a top class CB? don't forget that's gross spend as well
 
I think dani alves moving on has changed the perplexion of our transfers. We have to now spend on right back so we need money from somewhere. Selling one of our prized assets is the situation. Only aguero is the less valuable in guardiolas thought who can be sold in with a lot of money.
So on a positive note. Selling aguero means sanchez and mbappe are coming. Otherwise which club will be foolish enough to sell their prized assets without having something bigger assets.

You did not include outgoings there mate. Already we have 35,15 million on the plus side according to the balance sheet thread, and that's without Iheanacho. There are also others who should be leaving, so it will be more.
 
In fact the balance sheet thread is very interesting reading. At the moment it says we have a net spend of 99 million as of today. Let's for the sake of argument assume we get Mendy and Sanchez on top, for a combined fee of say 100 million (hopefully a conservative estimate). Then there is Iheanacho leaving for say 25 million. That would leave us at a net spend of 174 million pounds. I guess that should leave funds for a CB, or perhaps even for Mbappe, of the rumours of a 300 million war chest are true. Nice, eh?

yeah I said at the end that would only be the gross spend mate. not sure on the incoming fees yet and obviously there is the wages being saved by the likes of willy, navas,clichy and sagna gone

Didn't include back up fullbacks though which could easily put another 50m on, think Sanchez would be more like 60, so getting towards 300m less outgoings. We don't know for sure what the budget is.
