He can play a bit tbf.It seems to me a lot of people are blinded by bragging rights and not thinking this through

Hopefully it's being put in place for a move next season rather than this one, I don't want the negativity of all the money spent weighing us down this season, it's going to be bad enough as it is but at least we can go some way to justifying it with the fullbacks.

I agree. An 18 year old should be happy with a couple of tins of lager, 10 embassy no1 and a copy of razzle.
I'm 30 and I'd still be OK with that. Can't really find Razzle anymore. Can I trade in the 10 Embassy for a 4 pack of Mars Bars?

I get you, but in these circumstances where Monaco are supposed to be trying to get him to extend terms (do we believe that? I mean why would he?) very significant. Would srill leave a fee, and the small matter of Real Madrid, but strong indicator that the deal is still in motion.A deal with a player is probably the easiest bit. Could just be a hypothetical yes for something long in the future. It's incredibly vague.
the hardest part of this transfer is to get rid of real madrid competition. we'll make a deal with monaco. It will be expensive but if anyone is only concerned about getting him and not about the money spent, than his yes is absolutely most important part. Monaco can talk shit but they will not reject 100+ million.
