You should see the memoir I have in the works: "A Man, a City, an Obsession"
I hope that obsession isn't one of those that got all those tv/radio stars from the 80's & 90's in trouble !

with Fernando all but gone and de Bruyne doing a better job while Gudun was out and Danilo possibly even better at the right defensive midfield, we have opportunity , we have no youth player ready in this position so we have a gap for an 18 year old surely our scouts know the next Kessie or Diawarra
FFS, mate, now I have nothing to drive up interest during pre-release.I hope that obsession isn't one of those that got all those tv/radio stars from the 80's & 90's in trouble !
I'm a firm believer in keeping Sergio at least another year but let me ask this. Those outraged at the thought of him going, do you think the club should keep him until his legs start to go then let him leave for say £7m back to Argentina? Or do you think the club should run like the business it is & get the maximum amount they can for him while he's still scoring goals?
I think some fans forget it is a business & in reality the club don't care what we think or want & to be honest they shouldn't do if they're to be successful.
I'd get Mbappé in & let him know/understand the long term plan, or get a deal signed where he joins us next season. I honestly can't see Sergio staying longer than this year anyway, be it his choice or the clubs. With regards to any player now, we have to stop letting players stay beyond their best, we can't hold on to them forever as that's the mess we found ourselves in this year having to spend £200m on our defence! We need to make money from sales & sell them just as they start to dip. I love Zab but he stayed too long & it was obvious he couldn't handle the pace we now play at, we've done it before with others too.
Love Aguero but I'd rather see £50-60m now from any sale than £20m in another 2 years. I'm purely thinking in business terms now which is how the club will look at it.
Jesus Christ on a bike, the money we've thrown away on some garbage players would prop up some European economies. We run nothing like a business we are the sheiks club associated with him and his company and I'm so glad it's run that way or we'd be like arsenal.
Sammy Lee's info for those not on Twitter:
Responding to ' What does that mean on the Sanchez saga then if he can't spend too much more':
Responding to 'Assume if Mangala, Nasri and Fernando goes it gives us enough room to manoeuvre':one of them?
Oh surely not Badstuber, poor injury record and I wouldn't say he's any better than what we have, I'd rather keep Mangala.
Good, I've just looked his injuries up, since May 2012 he's twice injured the same ACL missing 20 months, torn thigh muscle 4 months and ruptured quads 3 months and those are just the biggies, he makes Santa Cruz look healthy! The article does say that his injury record led to conversations that were hardly enthusiastic.
