My opinion - we need to buy someone to compete with, and therefore put pressure to perform better on, Sergio & Jesus.
After watching Barca last night and seeing how they keep degrading their squad, I'd go and pay Messi's release fee.
The wheels seem to be coming off at that place.
I think Lionel would bail if we came in for him. But surely his release clause must be ridiculous money ?

Apologies for going completely OT but Barca just signed Paulinho for £36.4m, crazy. And we struggle to get double figures for Bony, Nasri and Mangala..
Hoping they'll buy Bony for 30 odd million to replace Neymar? Like for like.
