N'Zonzi would be a great addition - if Pep will see he's needed esp with Gundo, Yaya, Ferna i'm not sure...improved since his Prem days.

Perhaps we've ear marked the big money for a centre back for next summer?

If Vinny gets through this season unscathed he might still decide its better to step down, move to an easier league. If he proves his fitness this year there will be no shortage of buyers. He would be a year older and slower, time for us end the reliance?

In fact if we had a works 11 he would be the weekest player.

the downside being that no doubt evans gets at least a 3 year contract and no one would pay the fee we would want in the next couple of years? the evans deal has to be one of the most ridiculous ones we have ever done under the new ownership?? by the sounds of it we actually will have to pay around £25m for him as well!??! could get Gibson for that and at least have some youth and chance to progress under pep?
 
Pragmatic about this. 4th choice centre back, knows the league, probably not huge wages. Not too bothered. I'd rather we brought a solid player in rather than a Savic type, who though now a good player, was a bag of nerves and made mistakes.
