I think it must be the 1000th time I read that statement on here, at least. I don't think Pep agrees with you. Aguero will only leave if he wants to leave. If we can get those 4 in the attack line I think we will go ahead with it.

So how do we accomodate those 4 players into a setup where for large parts of the season we only have 1 up top? It means Sanchez has to play wide, which means much less game times for Sterling and Sane. Pushes maybe one less position in AMF if we go two up top so less game time for bernardo, and gives foden no chance. Just gives the squad a real inabalnce for me.

Yes i think you are right, it wouldn't be good for the squad in my opinion bringing both in.

I think Pep is more concerned about squad dynamics than people think.

If we have been given the nod for Sanchez or Mbappe then we need to allocate the money for them.

If fans knew for certain that was the reason for the Evans move I think most would fall into line pretty quickly.

If we're buying Evans it means we want to keep 2 foreign spots open. As far as I can see it if we buy him the club must believe we have a real shot of getting both Mbappe and Sanchez.

Or one of those and N'Zonzi, maybe they have looked at Toure, Fernandinho and decided there isn't enough cover for the pivot, don't know just guessing.

I think on the average 1 of those 4 players will not be available at any point in time. There will be injuries, bad form, bans etc. Then there is the need to rest, due to the hopefully many games in all competitions, which means rotation is required. Then there is the fact that of those 4 players, 3 of them could in a meaningful way play other positions, such as on the left or the right wing, if Sterling or Sane should suffer from the aforementioned injuries, bad form, bans or simply need a rest. I think there would be plenty of game time for everyone.
