So the fire is something burning in the midst of football. Qatar and PSG started that.
If we are going to finish it maybe Messi is not as silly as it sounds. Especially if City have accepted it is a no go for Sanchez and will not pay big for Mbappe.
The money he would bring in from sponsorship over 2 - 3 years with a dream move to New York City FC afterwards. Would stick one up to Qatar as well which is bound to be in someone's thinking.
The ashes of the fire could be fpp and nobody can go after City if they are okay with the deal PSG did for Neymar.

Read in Sunday Times Chelsea have inquired about Alderweireld who is unslettled. No wonder, he's only on 45k a week! Levy refusing to bump him to 80 and he isn't happy. We should be all over that like the cheapest suit in the cheap suit shop.
