It's Quiet - a new dawn

Leroy Sane: played 34, scored 9, assisted 5
Raheem Sterling: played 46, scored 10, assisted 21 (yes, 21)

True, every top team would snap him up. Either way irrelevant to this thread as is your comparison with Sane. Mine was with Bale who is light years ahead of Sterling.

So from the teasers we are saying Neymar? That's Aguero gone then isn't it.

Your comparison concluded that Sterling would be benched for a far superior player whereas it would be Sane (who even plays on the left generally) who would be benched. Or does that not suit your already written scenario?

I would imagine Sterling would get benched (like he has done recently) and Sane would continue to keep his place. You can throw up stats which some people like at times to suit an argument. I can think of many "assists" where he has completely fluffed a shot and luckily someone has tapped home. It classes as an assist without there being one tiny attempt of it being so. We put both on the market tomorrow Sane would get snapped up, Sterling wouldn't. Either way we wont be getting Bale so next year hopefully is another year of these two growing, improving and reaching the next level.

The only reason Sterling was benched was because he'd played more minutes than anyone else at the club, more than 50% more than Sané and was clearly knackered.

I can't think of any reason why any City fan would have as low an opinion of the lad as you seemingly do, he's only the second highest goalscorer and highest "assist-er" in the team, you'd think with any other player people would be heaping praise on him instead of begging for players to come in and bench him.
