Ye, which was De Jong's greatest attribute to our side. Barry was a more intelligent player and brought more to the table. However We're now at a stage where we have to look above De Jong's level regardless of whether we need his sort of application. A Prime Barry would still do a job for us but again we could and can do better.

with this happening think we need to prioritize griezmann or mbappe
 
Think a new attacker should be low down on our priority list, which should look like this in my opinion:
RB
LB
DM
GK
W (both sides, who won't mind fighting for his place)
 
List of attackers on the market we could go for now with sanchez gone
griezmann
mbappe
belotti
morata
lukaku
aubameyang
take your pick
 
Boateng is a little overrated in my opinion. Probably Kompany level at best. But he's still a wonderful player.
