'young for a keeper"
No, 30, 31 in November, isn't young for anything.
That's young for a first choice keeper. He could play another 12 years.

He is an appalling player

Oh, at least. 20 years could be possible.
Yes but wouldn't you say they seem to be the exception and not the rule?Surely buying Sane, Jesus, Moreno, Zinchenko, Roberts, Unal etc is doing exactly that.
Remind me, how old was his dad when he stopped playing in the prem? I could list off 20 keepers to play into their 40's, but I won't, because your smug attitude isn't worth the effort.
Come on, with the exception of Buffon and maybe Friedel, they all dipped dramatically by the time they reached their mid 30s.
Casillas, Cech, Seaman, Schmeichel etc all looked like shadows of their former selves by that age. It could easily be down to other factors but look at Bravo now.
If we're going in for someone around 30 then they should be an exceptional talent and, at least in my opinion, Kasper doesn't fall into that category.
Thought we couldn't buy him back until next summer?I'm surprised at how quiet it's been about Rulli (unless I've missed something?). I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Willy leave and be replaced by Rulli this season because it was reported when we signed him then sold him last year that we had a fairly low buy-back clause.
