If players are out of contract you have to release them or re-sign them, I wouldn't read anything into the timing of these announcements, other than the fact that they won't be here next season and we clearly have got plans for their replacements, I don't think anything can be read into it as to how far advanced the talks are.I'd like to think most of our planned deals are as done as can be given the amount of people we let go yesterday. It didnt come as a great shock, but the last thing we need is the selling clubs to start demanding an extra 5-10 mil because they know we have the money and now need the player.

Jesus will never be benched unless he is coming back from injury. He chose us because Pep promised him game time.They are young lads.
For as talented as they are I think Pep has realised this season that over the course of a season they are too inexperienced to play every week and win us a title or Champions League.
Same goes with Jesus. I think he will have moments when he will be benched next season.
