It's Quiet - a new dawn

Got told tonight by Michael brown, he's rented his house which was rented by Sagna, to the club for a new signing, the club bit is the first time it's been rented this way, he hasn't got a clue for who but knows for sure it isn't silva coz he declined it. That is all.

Txiki, take note. Don't offer it to some fickle bastard whose bird prefers fitted carpets and an indoor bog.

Recent signings or assumed signings have one thing in common, excess money.

United got their target by this means and now PSG so whether we follow suit or not is up to our owners but negotiations are ok up to a point then serious money brings everything to a swift conclusion.

Yeah I hate how much our two signings so far dragged on. I think the club have shown they're willing to get the money on the table when they feel it's the right thing to do.

Not sure how our finances are but our expansive revamp of players is a costly investment this window for a few years but I wonder if others are pushing up the price of our supposed targets by overvaluing their individual purchases ?
Would we revisit FFP area or be forced to get what we can for lesser money than the market is heading or even leave ourselves short of targeted players until another window.?

the only snag with all this is I was looking forward to what he brought to the squad. class, experience and mentality. you can't buy those things. for 2 years he would have done us proud. we will get another full back. who will be better than what we had.

we move on.

He knows Pep's way of working, inside out, & could have been a big help getting it across, even to someone like Walker & no transfer fee. Would have been a great signing.

But we all knew he was a twat, & it looks like he's just confirmed it.

such a great start to the transfer season then nothing, very disapointing and frustrating, I do hope we get some full backs in I genuinely thought we would have them in before leaving for the states.

In other news City have signed a new sponsorship deal with the company who makes vaseline. A city spokesman said we are delighted to agree this deal and vaseline will be the city preferred choice of petroleum jelly. There is speculation that this deal has been concluded quickly to enable stocks of jelly to be increased beforer the rogering the club will receive from Levy in their pursuit of Walker. :-)
