I mean, people really thinking Pep would be interested in a player as lethargic/lazy as that video indicates are delusional. If we are in on him at all it's obvious he's a far more capable player than that.

I'll pour acid in my eyes if we sign Carvalho. He's 25 and still playing in Portugal. Why do you think nobody has even put in a bid for him yet? His agent keeps peddling bullshit rumours every summer hoping someone in the top 5 leagues picks him up, but nobody will. He's worse than Fernando.

It's amazing how many people who we all know have never watched a full Sporting match are suddenly experts on him.

Haven't commented on him, and haven't seen him but reading on here get the impression he is about the same standard as Fernado. You obviously think he is decent which is reassuring.

I do a podcast and as part of that podcast i've been talking to people around Pep. Today I spoke to probably one of his closest confidants and somebody who is actually privy to the actual status of every deal we're trying to do this summer. This person would never ever tell me anything about a transfer we're trying to complete because i'm a nobody and they aren't. However they made it clear to me because of a conversation we were having that Fabinho isn't moving to England this summer.

If not Fabinho any chance of Verratti?

im afraid not too many times we have been linked and a very reliable source said we were in negotiations for him.

Even if you are one of the few who has seen him play a lot, I think everyone knows that's the exception, and most people have seen a YouTube video or two and maybe the Euro16 final before deciding.

I mean to see comparisons to Javi Garcia or Fernando who are completely different kinds of player sums it up really. I'm pretty sure 50% of the criticism would evaporate if he played in any other country than Portugal.
